The Eagle River Park Coalition is a public group, open to new members, and is guided by a passionate group of river enthusiasts and community leaders dedicated to creating world-class river recreation opportunities in Eagle, Colorado.

Lachie Thomas
A lifelong surfer originally from Sydney, Australia, Lachie moved to Eagle in 2005. He has raised his three children here, built businesses, and become fully immersed in the Eagle community — and now helps the Coalition's effort to bring a world-class river wave back to town.
Matt Daley
Handcrafting surfboards since 2010, Matt blends skilled craftsmanship with a passion for waves. After moving to the Vail Valley from Wisconsin in '93, he chased ocean surf in California — only to find his perfect wave back in Colorado. He's now fully hooked on river surfing and getting a legit wave in Eagle.
Scott Bellow
A certified florist and outdoor landscape, action, and wildlife photographer, no one spends more time outside than Scott. He grew up surfing in NJ, and now channels the rise of river waves into another recreational outlet that brings families and friends together in the place we all call home.
