Build the
wave.
The Eagle River Park Coalition is a group of water recreation enthusiasts who believe in the community value of high-performance, well-designed, in-river features.
Stay in the flow — get updates
Safer Waters
Well-engineered water features are safer for all river users — particularly when entering the river park. Making this much safer is one of our top goals.
Extended Season
Features that work for longer durations during the summer months.
Community Gathering
A welcoming spot where families, neighbors, and visitors come together by the river all summer long.
From Salida to Boise to Austria
Generational communities of river surfers are growing everywhere — from Salida to Boise to Ebensee, Austria. Since opening day, Eagle River Park has been a fantastic community gathering spot, its in-river features a focal point for high-performance surfing and kayaking, as well as swimming and tubing through the hot late months of summer.
Having witnessed what's possible with the opening of Salida's new Scout Wave 2.0, we've come to see that there's so much more potential in the Eagle River — for a longer season, safer features, and continued growth.

Help build the
new wave
We're raising funds to build a new river wave feature at Eagle River Park — creating longer opportunities for kayakers, surfers, families, and visitors to connect with our beautiful river in a safe and exciting way.
Surfers get organized
The Eagle River Park Coalition was formed by a group of dedicated river users who met and built friendships on community boards while surfing the wave at Eagle River Park. We formed the Coalition to steward a new vision of the river park for Eagle, Colorado.
